Although billing is related, it differs from cost management. Billing is the process of billing customers for goods or services and managing the business relationship. On your bill, Azure user fees are displayed first, followed by market fees. If you have a credit, it is applied to azure usage and your bill indicates the use of Azure and the use of the marketplace without issuing fees. You can`t set a cost point at the service level. If you want to track usage at the service level, you can use the day-to-day feature available at the service level. Export all cost data to an Azure storage account using our new export feature. You can use this data in external systems and combine it with your own data to maximize your cost management functions. Cost and usage data are generally available in cost management – billing on the Azure portal and support APIs within 8-24 hours. For users with other types of Azure accounts, it`s easier to set a user`s access to cost management data using the roll-based Azure Access Command (Azure RBAC).
